Purchase Policy

It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available in your nominated bank account or credit card to cover the cost of your weekly membership, class packs, private and semi-private sessions or other products from Contro Pilates and Yoga.

If a payment is declined for any reason, we reserve the right to process payment anytime where sufficient funds are available in the nominated bank account or credit card in order to settle any fees that are owed.

We are in no way responsible for additional fees that you may incur from your bank in relation to processing payment of fees.  

Returns/Refunds

Membership, Packs and Gift Voucher
Each class pack, private and semi-private session pack and gift voucher has its own expiry date. These dates are final except in rare circumstances relating to injury or illness where a medical certificate must be provided. Refer to each section under ‘Terms and Conditions’ for individual pricing types.

Merchandise and Products
Any merchandise and products sold in studio, including but not limited to, grip socks, drink bottles, Reformer mats and Yoga mats have a strict no return or refund policy due to change of mind. If you believe a purchased item is faulty, you will need to return it to the studio who will apply for a return or refund through the supplier. Contro Pilates and Yoga does not take responsibility for these items if the supplier does not grant a return or refund.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a booking, you must advise Contro Pilates and Yoga at least twelve (12) hours prior to commencement of the class.  

When you book a class, you are making a commitment. This means you either attend the class, or cancel with 12 hours notice to Contro Pilates and Yoga. Failure to provide 12 hours notice will incur the below fees;

Membership Clients (Premium)

• No Show Fee: $30 for Premium Classes - $22 for Standard Classes

• Late Cancellation Fee: $10 for all Classes

Membership Clients (Gold, Silver and Bronze)

• No Show Fee: Forfeit the full class credit for Premium Classes - $22 for Standard Classes

• Late Cancellation Fee: $10 for all Classes

Membership Clients (Sculpt, Tone, Reform, Flow and Flexi)

• No Show Fee: Forfeit the full class credit

• Late Cancellation Fee: $10 for all Classes

Pack and Casual Purchase Clients

• No Show: Forfeit the full class credit

• Late Cancellation Fee: $10 for all Classes

By booking a class, either through Contro Pilates and Yoga’s Website or Mobile Application, or MindBody, you understand you are giving permission for Contro Pilates and Yoga to charge any relevant fees to that booking.  

Class bookings can be cancelled online or through the app by logging into your account and choosing to unreserve the class you wish to cancel. If this method does not work, please call or email Contro Pilates and Yoga to cancel.  

Cancelling a class when you know you will not be able to make it is strongly encouraged as it allows another member on the waitlist to take your reservation.  

Weekly Auto-Pay Memberships

Memberships must be paid one week in advance so that the week has been paid for which you are attending classes. Membership fees will be charged to your nominated bank account or credit card once per week.

The minimum term for a weekly membership is two (2) weeks. After two (2) weeks the membership will automatically continue on a weekly basis until Contro Pilates and Yoga is advised by you via online form (https://www.contropilatesandyoga.com/change/suspend/terminate-membership) that you wish to terminate the membership. At least fourteen (14) days notice is required to process membership terminations.

After the minimum term of two (2) weeks, memberships may be suspended via a written online form request (https://www.contropilatesandyoga.com/change/suspend/terminate-membership) for a minimum of one (1) week and a maximum of eight (8) weeks (or another period, by agreement). Suspensions must be made in weekly increments with fourteen (14) days notice to process the suspension request. When a suspension is placed on an account, all booking rights are suspended and no classes can be booked.

Classes cannot be accrued. Each membership option applies the specified amount of classes to the account each week and then have a seven (7) day expiry. Any classes attended above the membership allowance, will be charged to your account at a casual rate.

If auto-debit payments fail for two weeks or more, Contro Pilates and Yoga may cancel the membership and seek to recover any outstanding amounts as a liquidated debt, at its sole discretion.

Memberships are unique to each individual and may not be shared between holders.

Private and Semi-Private Sessions

All private and semi-private sessions must be paid in full before attending. You can do this when booking your session.

Private and semi-private sessions are non-transferrable between holders and cannot be sold, traded, gifted or shared to any person other than the purchaser.

Each private and semi-private session pack has its own strict expiry date. If the number of private and semi-private sessions for which the pack entitles attendance have not been used by the holder before the expiry date, then those sessions will expire and no refund will be given for any unused sessions. In the case of illness or injury and with a supporting medical certificate, an extension or refund on a private and/or semi-private session pack may be granted. No other reason will result in an extension or refund.

Contro Pilates and Yoga reserves the right to increase prices from time-to-time and offer additional pricing options.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be paid in full before being provided to the recipient. You can do this when purchasing the gift voucher.

Gift vouchers are non-transferrable between holders and cannot be sold, traded, gifted or shared to any person other than the recipient.

Gift vouchers have a strict twelve (12) month expiry date where the recipient must have used the dollar value of the voucher before twelve (12) months has elapsed. In the case of illness or injury and with a supporting medical certificate, an extension on a gift voucher may be granted. No other reason will result in an extension or refund.

Changes To Terms

These terms may be amended from time to time and were last amended on 3 November 2023. Any amendments will be effective immediately once the amended terms are published on this website. Your continued access to or use of this website will constitute your acceptance of the amended terms.
