Frequently Asked Questions
Which classes should I attend and how often to see results?
We recommend you incorporate a variety of classes into your schedule as each class has a varying focus. We understand everyone has a different schedule, but we do suggest you aim to come at least three times a week to achieve optimum results.
What do I need to bring to class?
Please bring a towel (or Reformer Hygiene Mat for Reformer Classes), grip socks and drink bottle to every class. You are also encouraged to bring your own mat for Matwork Pilates, Yoga and Barre. We sell these items in the studio - ask a friendly team member to purchase.
Can I still participate if I am pregnant or post-partum?
Of course! Our general classes cater for pregnant women in their first trimester only. Due to the reduced number of exercises and level of intensity safely required in the second and third trimester, we cannot cater for these needs in a general group setting. As such, we run a Pregnancy Reformer class which is suitable for women in their second and third trimester. We also offer a 'Pregnancy Pack' which includes 5 Classes and 5 Private Sessions at a reduced cost. Private sessions are perfect for pregnancy as we will tailor everything to you and bub!
Once you are post-partum, it is a requirement that you have medical clearance to exercise. We recommend sticking with Matwork Pilates, Yoga and Barre until you feel like you have gained the strength back to progress with Reformer Pilates. We also run Mums & Bubs Programs throughout the year!
Am I still able to attend a class if I have an injury?
This will depend on each individual as we do require you to have clearance from your medical professional to be able to participate. Please note that our sessions are not rehab based.
How many people are in each class?
We are all about you! So we keep our class sizes under 12.
Still have a question?
We would love to hear from you.
